Lead yourself well.
It is true - that when we are ready, willing and able to step into discomfort for the respecting our goals, values and aspirations - sometimes it gets worse before it gets better.
When we allow our dissonance to surface, the 'treatment effect' can occur. When we notice what we need to notice, we can experience regret, difficult habits, ways of being, unhealthy attachments and the comfort of the familiar ways.
Awareness typically asks for change.
Change is typically uncomfortable.
